| Toen Björn Berge dertien was, ontdekte hij Robert Johnson,
John Hammond, Elmore James en Leo Kottke en Noorwegen zou nooit
meer hetzelfde zijn. Of in ieder geval Berges muzikale richting,
want hij had nu de blues vast en die zou hij nooit meer loslaten.
Sinds zijn dertiende heeft zijn stem zich ontwikkeld tot een amalgaam
van schuurpapier, huisgestookte whisky, grind en gebroken glas.
Omdat hij vindt dat ook de blues zich dient te ontwikkelen, is hij
niet te beroerd om flarden vette funk of happen heftige hiphop in
zijn muziek te stoppen. Hij is er Noorwegens meest gerespecteerde
bluesartiest mee geworden.

forever. Well Berge's musical taste would anyway. Berge now had
the blues and he would never let go again. Since he was thirteen
his voice developed to an amalgam of sandpaper, whiskey, sandstones
and broken glass. Berge thinks blues too should develop and therefore
he adds groovy funk and slices of hip hop to his music. It made
him Norway's most respected blues artist.
