Dartel Drents
The Miracle Men heetten eerst Vinner And The Fukkers, maar na het vertrek van zanger-gitarist Pute Fukker (een fantastische solocarrière tegemoet, met zo’n naam), gebeurde het wonder en vond de band een nieuwe naam en een wereldvorm. Dat de blues goed gedijt op Drentse bodem weten we wel sinds Harry Muskee en Daniël Lohues, en die invalshoek wordt gevat in een strak kader van sixtiesgaragerock-’n-roll.

Daring Drents
The Miracle Men, from the rural province of Drenthe, used to call themselves Vinner And The Fukkers, but after singer-guitarist Pute Fukker left (with such a name, a great solo career is imminent) they changed their name and got into shape. Drenthe is a fruitful ground for blues – think of Harry Muskee (Cuby and the Blizzards) and Daniël Lohues (Skik) – and with the Miracle Men’s sixties garage rock-approach, it becomes miraculously great.
