Vlammende Vlaming
Jan De Campenaere is de enige echte Venus In Flames. Lange tijd had hij genoeg aan een akoestische gitaar en een microfoon, in welke hoedanigheid hij heel wat voorprogramma’s en radiosessies afwikkelde. Elliott Smith, Jeff Buckley, Nick Drake en Neil Young klonken op de achtergrond zachtjes mee, dus een vrolijke jongen is die De Campenaere niet. Toch heeft hij tegenwoordig wat aanspraak aan de leden van zijn kersverse begeleidingsband.

Jan De Campenaere is the one and only true Venus In Flames. For a long time he didn’t need more than an acoustic guitar and a microphone, playing countless support shows and radio sessions. Elliott Smith, Jeff Buckley, Nick Drake and Neil Young are heard softly in the background – De Campenaere is not a cheerful lad. Fortunately he’s no longer alone, his newly-acquired band members can accompany him on his lone crusade against bad music.
