The Flexican, 21 nog maar, was nog maar net in de puberteit aanbeland toen hij begon met het draaien van hiphop. Maar omdat enig historisch besef hem niet vreemd is, verdiepte hij zich al snel in de wortels van die stijl en sindsdien gooit hij rustig soul, funk en disco door zijn sets. En via disco kwam hij heel vanzelfsprekend bij house en latin terecht. Kortom: een warmbloedige DJ naar ons hart!

dance Thomas Goethals’ DJ name refers partly to his city of birth, Mexico City, and partly to the broad scope and flexible approach of his DJ-ing. As an adolescent The Flexican, still only 21 now, already started playing hip hop. Historical awareness made him dig deep into the roots of the genre and from that point onwards he starts adding funk, disco and soul to his sets. The path of disco automatically led him to house and latin. He’s a warm-blooded DJ who will conquer a warm spot in the heart of all dance lovers.
