EUROSONIC
is The European Showcase Festival that takes place in several venues in the city center of Groningen. Organised in co-operation with the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), the festival gives upcoming European rock, pop and dance acts the opportunity to present themselves to audience, industry and media. With unlimited opening hours and relaxed vibes of university-town Groningen as extra spice, all EuroSonic venues, varying in capacity from 150 to 1000, are situated within a five minutes walk from each other.

EBU BROADCAST
This year again, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) will broadcast EuroSonic to all members, providing unique promotional opportunities for participating artists. The program of EuroSonic and Noorderslag will be broadcast live live on Radio 3FM in the Netherlands, on UKšs BBC and on radio Sputnik in Germany.



LIVEWEBCASTS
Since 5 years, vi broadcasts the EuroSonic and Noorderslag festivals worldwide on the Internet via www.noorderslag.nl. This year these three EuroSonic stages will be on air: Simplon, Grand Theatre and Vera.
